Comparative report Open data

Here you can download the comparative report on open data policies and their implementation at public administration level, with a focus on public procurement, in the seven countries of the Woodie project.

The analysis highlights that the Member States compared so far have reached a very different level of open data maturity. This also due to the fact that there is no common EU-wide policy on open data in general, nor specifically on public procurement. Despite the Public Procurement Directive, the issue of opening up procurement does not lie within a common EU legal/political umbrella. However, the report points out some promising practices adopted by several countries.

In the Annex you can find a summary table with further details on each country’s legal provisions.
