The new Directive on the protection of whistleblowers

On 16^th April 2019, the European Parliament adopted the whistleblowing Directive [1], aimed at enhancing, through effective protection of whistleblowers, the enforcement of Union law and policies in specific areas where breaches can cause serious prejudice to the public interest.
